Project labs Invok Lab
How is an educational product made?
Invok is a real educational product I’m working on. It serves as a living case study: how a product and its methodology take shape, AI literacy, UX, validation, feedback, rebranding and the dead ends too.
Small project group · up to 12 students
What students do
- They follow how a real product takes shape, dead ends and rebranding included.
- They design and test AI literacy activities and gather feedback.
- They learn to validate an idea and make both product and pedagogical decisions.
- They try out entrepreneurship on a real case, not a hypothetical scenario.
Possible outcome
A tested design for an activity or feature, with an argument for why it does or doesn’t have educational value.

Fairness
Students are not free labour; the purpose of the lab is educational. If a student outcome ever grew into a real commercial collaboration, it would be handled separately, transparently and fairly.
Suitable formats
- Workshop 90–120 min (less suitable)
- Project day 1 day (suitable)
- Intensive programme 2–5 days (suitable)
- Project block weeks (suitable)
- External studio semester + (suitable)
- Online / hybrid possible
Technical requirements
Space for teamwork, flipcharts and, depending on the focus, a few laptops.
Group size
Small project group: ideally 6–10 students, 12 at most.
A smaller group leaves room for individual guidance, conversation, experimentation and genuine teamwork instead of a lecture-style workshop. Larger groups can be worked out case by case, for example by splitting students into several project teams or blocks.
